A debriefing session was held for the DrPH Cambodia practicum.

On November 7th, second-year DrPH program students presented in a review session focusing on their fieldwork experience in Cambodia. The on-site study took place over approximately two weeks in September, with the local organization AHEAD acting as the host. During the field visits, they conducted multiple group discussions and interviews across various villages, adhering to the predetermined agenda.

Fieldwork is an integral component of the DrPH program’s 18-month Nagasaki-based curriculum. Second-year students engaged in two fieldwork opportunities: a July excursion to Minamata and the September visit to Cambodia. Preparations for the Cambodia fieldwork began in April, with students taking charge of material gathering and analysis, travel planning, and activity organization. This fieldwork is expected to serve as the foundation for a future report.
